Dentist
Dr. Smit graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2008. Following dental school he worked in public and private practices in South Africa for four years.
Dr. Smit and his wife moved to Canada in 2013 where he successfully fulfilled all the requirements and was granted the National Dental Board Certificate. Dr. Smit’s vast knowledge of dentistry and close attention to detail allows him to offer his patients the finest possible treatments for a wide range of dental conditions.
With several years of experience Dr Smit continues to expand his knowledge through dental education courses and attends many focused study clubs. In Dr. Smit’s spare time he enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and spending time with his family

Here at Meadowvale Dental Clinic, our team is committed to providing you the best care possible in a gentle and compassionate manner. We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient comfort in an effort to make every visit a pleasant experience for the whole family.
We place a special emphasis on creating a friendly, stress-free environment. Our main focus is on providing high-quality preventative and restorative dental care in a gentle, warm, and family-type atmosphere where patients receive the high standard of care they want and deserve.
Stephanie
Office Manager
Stephanie is the office manager at our clinic and has been with Meadowvale Family Dental Center since it opened. She is the first smiling face you see when you come to our office, and she looks forward to welcoming you. With several years of dental administration behind her she continues to upgrade her knowledge through dental education courses. Any questions regarding invoices, billing, or insurance can be answered by Stephanie. She was born and still lives in our beautiful Pitt Meadows community with her husband and two children.
Tia
Registered Dental Hygienist
In 2004 Tia worked as a Certified Dental Assistant when she returned to school to become a Dental Hygienist. Since graduating in 2008 she has continued to take courses to further her skills in her dental profession. She loves working with her patients to help them gain optimal oral health. Tia enjoys traveling to new countries with her husband.
Mehrnaz
Mehrnaz has over 27 years of experience in the dental field and loves seeing familiar faces and meeting new patients. Her positive and friendly attitude always provides patients with best possible experience during and after each visit. Mehrnaz continues to take courses and further her education in the dental field. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering, hiking and spending time with her family.
